straight people will listen to somebody to love by queen and be like “i understand this” but my hot take is that they don’t and they never will
The most reckless thing you can do is refuse healing when you are ready for it. Wounds left untreated threaten the existence of every good thing in your life. Don’t hold onto your trauma like a badge of honor you can’t let go of. Stop covering it, air it out so it can heal. You need to let it heal and the time is now. Don’t self sabotage your life, growth, healing, or happiness. Your wound is not your fault or your identity. Your healing however is your responsibility. Take care and control of yourself. Stop holding yourself back.
